Head of FRWO stressed: "Protection is the main task of FRWO and has three sides, one of the sides of which is that the natural resources arena should have a plan and executor, and the executor's main duty is to protect this area in the first step".

According to FRWO's website, Dr. Massoud Mansour, Deputy Minister and Head of FRWO in The 21^st session of the performance of the executive plan of 2021 chaired by Massoud Mansour, held on Tuesday at FRWO Headquarters with the agenda of performance review of Natural Resources and Watershed Management Department (NRWD) of Fars province said that the second side of protection of natural resources is to utilize innovation initiatives and new technologies such as areal monitoring of forests online system equipped with light aircraft, systems for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), wireless technology, real time Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) and monitoring system and installing CCTV cameras; and the third side of protection is the physical presence in the areas of natural resources.

In this meeting, Mansour said: "Equipping with the latest technologies for monitoring of forests and rangelands is necessary, and FRWO will launch a Natural Resource Early Warning and Hazard Monitoring Center on Wednesday to intensify conservation measures."

He further considered the rehabilitation of natural resources and restoration of mined lands as a necessity and noted: "So far, more than 20,000 hectares of natural resources arena have been rehabilitated by FRWO which were destroyed due to the extraction and exploitation of mines".
